Notes to Self: Winning Combo: Cooking Class and Community Service at the Culinary Center of Kansas City

What if you could learn to cook, build camaraderie, and give back to the community all at the same time? The Culinary Center’s interactive cooking parties, All Hands for Hunger, do just that.

Since the inception of the All Hands for Hunger program at The Culinary Center of Kansas City, more than 70,000 servings of wholesome, homemade dishes have been created in partnership with more than 75 area companies to feed Kansas Citians in need.

The plan is simple: you and your group choose a charity from their list of local organizations and work in teams to create and package meals perfectly suited to the needs of that charity. From chicken scallopini to chicken tamales, your group will make real food to nourish the bodies and souls of real people who are facing challenges in their lives. In addition, you and your group enjoy the meal, take home the recipes, and revel in the joy of doing good for others.
